 Douglas Construction and Bauwerks Construction joined forces in 2003. Doug Seaman and John Gilkinson (West End Tavern Boulder, Rhumba Restaurant, JAX Fish House Boulder, JAX Fish House Denver, Vesta Dipping Grill, Illegal Pete’s Denver and Hapa Sushi Grill Boulder) are known for producing beautiful residential and commercial projects all over the Denver and Boulder area.  Douglas Construction was the proud contractor for the acclaimed Little Yoga Studio in Boulder and three of the more prominent art galleries in Denver’s RINO art district. WEIL WORKS and PLINTH GALLERY both received “Mayors Design Awards” and PLUS GALLERY won the "Denver Post art space of the year" 2009 and Westword’s "best new gallery space" the same year.  More recently, we finished a beautiful four-story custom condo/duplex in RINO, the hugely popular Nissi’s music venue in Lafayette Co. and are currently building a gorgeous custom home in the mountains overlooking the town of Nederland.
